pretty much, they are like having a wedge of cheese on a stick, if you cant get them babies into the air from practically any lie then you need more than new clubs.
I went from about 16 h/cap (unofficial) down to 9 with x14's then x16's. I'm not sure if it was the x16's or that they were the first stiff shaft irons I had that did it.
The X18's were binned after about 2 months, and went back to the x16's for a bit before getting my current TM R7's which are even better.
Never tried x16's, had x14's for years and now play x22 tours, very pleased, albeit brand loyalty probably plays its part. When it comes to driver/woods I am a tart!
i've never tried the x-16's but i currently use the x-14's and i love them, they make you feel much more confident and they are so easy to hit.i had a crap day with them on sunday and this morning but in the afternoon i was back to striking them well...........
i loved teh 18's and just found my mate a set of x22's 6 months old for £200, 3-pw and are like new, i think i prefer the 22's over the 18's and the 20's.
