Great show got a couple of episodes to catch up on but when the sceptics do it well they do it very well.

I'm loving it at the moment, but my Missus has lost interest. She thinks it's too slow. The acting is excellent, the script is tight and I love the dark brooding pacing of the direction. Really looking forward to seeing how it ends.

The Second episode was a cracker 
A good few turns and twists are unravelling. It was a little confusing at first going back and forth, but the more you watch, you more enthralled you are.

It's fantastic. The girlfriend and I have seen the entire series and it just keeps getting deeper, more perverse and more engaging as the series goes on. Probably the best show I've seen since The Wire.
Interestingly there had been a worry that it was a one-off series akin to Band of Brothers as Matthew McConaughey said he would not return for season two. It transpires it is an anthology show and they will run several seasons each featuring different detectives in different cities with different storylines. Awesome.

Eeeeek, I kinda wanted it to stay with those two but I can see how that cannot happen. I wonder who the next two detectives will be.
Two to go... looking forward to them!

One of the best things on TV recently....Very well acted and superb story lines. Mathew McConaugey has seriously delivered recently in some excellent roles

Very involving and watchable. Most of the must-see TV these days is US cable (HBO, Showtime etc) stuff because they can allow a series to develop without having to live or die on the ratings of the first few episodes.
