I am looking for a cheap, higher loft driver for the winter in the hope of getting more carry when there is no roll. Not looking to spend more than about £70 tops and as most of the Bennys have sold out I am looking at either the square or regular MD EQL (2008 Model). Anybody tried or use one of these and if so do they reckon they are worth a punt?

I bought a 12 degree EQL driver just before Christmas together with the matching 3 & 5 woods.
Reasonably happy with it, hits the ball higher and decent distance as well with a nice draw to it.
I bought the "offset" version, in hindsight I think this was a bit of a mistake as my previous woods weren't offset and it looks a little strange at address.
I have also bought a "Benny" 10.5 degree firm as a back up and I think I actually prefer this as it's not quite as deep faced as the EQL so you don't have to tee the ball up quite as high (something which had always put me off big headed drivers in the past).
Due to an ordering "cock up" I may have a Benny for sale but it will be 10.5 degrees firm (which isn't THAT firm anyway).
