Anyone got Srixon ZX5 irons

Trying out a few irons and bought the Srixons ZX5 as they felt the best .
Got them home and only just noticed there a few ridges on the back of the clubs where mud could be hard to clean off.
Has anyone got a set , is mud / wiping off an issue

Get a nail brush or old toothbrush it there....no problem.

Unless you hit the club left handed I would expect very little to build up. When blowing your shoes down with the air gun, just blow the cavities at the same time ?

Who the hell cleans the back of their clubs? I just wipe the faces/grooves twice a year and that's it.

Had them for a year. Never a problem. Wipe with a towel after each shot & the occasional wash in soapy water. Superb clubs.

They are good but I struggle with the V sole....fairly shallow AoA and I find it hard to get a decent connection.
If I could get steeper they'd probably work and I'd have a set....

I can't get any muck to stick on the backs of my irons.



But as you suggest, I very carefully clean the soles with a nailbrush or toothbrush after every game to ensure not a single letter is contaminated.
Then I kiss each one, read it a story and send it to bed.

Does that mean you’re more of a sweeper with your irons ?

These are on my bucket list for new irons. Only hanging on as the ZX range have a mark 2 model due out early next year

Very shallow divot with irons, sometimes no more than a graze...
