Anyone fancy the Ltd edition Scotty Cameron

Tony,

I must admit, they are nicer in the flesh (I do not own one by the way) but the Pro Shop at my club has a couple. Not sure who he thinks he will be selling to. We live in Bude, not Beverly Hills!! :)

There are several different styles of this, as I saw them in HongKong, where they were even more expensive (think double plus a bit more). I can't see the point really. Will give it a miss.

I've just ordered up a Studio Select 1.5 (Heavyweight) at 35"........hurry up and arrive!!!!!....i want it NOW!

Looked at the button back but not a pretty IMHO.

You're right though Scottys are expensive. I've been gaming a TP Mills for about 2 years, every bit as good quality, possibly a bit more exclusive than Scottys but sadly not as fashionable on tour or in the amatuer game.....lovley flat stick though!

He was making specials for $15,000 with a one year delivery.
Saw it on you tube Scotty Cameron convention.Sad i no to be looking at that but interesting anyway. Saw them in the states $600 doolars with limited edition headcovers he brings new headcovers out for the Majors every year. Great putters tho.

If it makes me hole putts I'll gladly pay that much for it.
But I doubt there will be any kind of guarantee.
I'm having a fitting next week having changed my putting stroke, stance, style and everything else to do with that damned part of the game & like the look of the squareback & fastback options from SC.

I wouldn't pay £400 for a putter, not even a driver! I know the putter is one of the most important sticks in the bag, but not at that price. It looks more or less the same design as mine, Odessy White Hot. If I ever did pay that much I'd certainly want a different design.

Anyway, I can't afford to be a gear tart, like some on here :D :D :D :D

Golfmmad.

Mono - why not only a week and a bit's money from your school food enterprise and you haven't had anynew kit for at least a fortnight

I don't like it. I hate the grip and the back of the clubhead. The original was the best but still too much to warrant paying especially with my ropey putting style

Homer not a new club for around 3 months I need to get used to what ive got im using that money to save up for university.

I don't particularly like it but....

Can't understand why people baulk at paying that much for a putter - but will splash out similar amounts on a driver - a club which won't be used anywhere near as much?

I wouldn't pay that much for either - but then I'm a tight git.

You're not being tight Marmar - just realistic.

Will a £400 Scotty really be any different to a £200 Scotty that you can walk into any AG and buy?
