Just started the Level 2 AAT Accountancy course last week, twice a week and already my head is scrambled!!! :temper:

Really enjoying it but found it difficult last night - double entry bookkeeping!!!! Of course its all new and I'm sure I'll get there in the end but my old head is pounding :D

Anyone else studying at the moment? How you doing/dealing with the extra hours studying and homework?

i took time out to complete a BSC a few years ago, it was full time. at the time i was 26 years old. really enjoyed it and found it not to taxing on the brain. i couldnt have done it straight from school like my brother and sister. but glad i was able to do it. stick in and put the extra hours in. and remember to take a break every so often so it doesnt destroy you

Double entry is a doddle once you get the hang of it!

Good luck and stick with it.
As I told my daughter when she chose to become an accountant, the World will always need beancounters.

I returned to uni a couple of years ago to do a full time post grad after a 10 year gap and was much more prepared for it than the first time. I was more focused and hardly set foot in a nightclub compared to the 2-3 times a week the first time...it was more important to keep time for studying second time round for me and actually complete assignments with time to spare instead of the all nighters I used to do on deadline day.
