Any hybrid users?

I used to have a 4i replacement hybrid, it was a Wilson Deep Red which had the fat shaft, at first I loved it but after a while the shaft got to me, now I don't have a hybrid. My 3 and 5 woods seem to do the trick, although thinking about maybe replacing the 5 wood for a hybrid as i jump from 5 wood to 4i.

I have a Taylormade Superfast #3 (The original, not the tipex one)

I find it an excellent long iron replacement and useful out of most lies.

I wouldn't say I'd be without it, but it is a useful club.

I've just switched to the mizuno clk 17 full time and taken the 2 iron out. Never been a fan of them before, love it now much more consistent out of the rough.

currently using an 09 burner 4h 22* with steel shaft and its awesome, very universal and normally my fail safe from 180-200 yards, can hit it from anywhere. I had the rescue dual mid hybrid in 19* and this was super strong but a little harder to hit than 4h.

I have 3 - 24, 21 and 18 degree Ping Rapture - got them just after the V2 came out at £78 each - wouldn't be without them. Really easy to hit, can actually shape shots - especially good for drawing round trees after a wayward drive, excellent out of the rough. Occasionally drop the 18 for a 5 wood, but not at the moment.

From 150 - 175 yards in use nothing else - then there are the bump and run shots round the green - after the putter by far the most used (and most effective) club in the bag.

Would not leave the club house without one

Using two now oldish TM Rescue mid's 19 and 22 degree

When all my clubs got nicked last year, Direct Golf sent me (against my wishes) an Adams A7 Idea 19* hybrid that has been sat in my shed ever since i got it because i'm a Mizzy brand whore, even though the guy at Direct Golf raved about them I refused to let anything other than Mizzy in my bag!!!

Anyway, last weekend I thought i'd give it a go as i'm not getting on with my Mizzy at the moment and oh my lord what a club!! So, so, so easy to hit, I get a much better ball flight with it than my Mizzy and a more consistant straight shot too, needless to say, its now staying in the bag :D

Love my md superstrong 21 degree and it was cheap.

+1, great clubs at an unbelievable price.

Me too, very pleased with mine, I am going to do a round this weekend without my driver as I struggle to hit it straight, where as my hybrid and irons I hit straight 95% of the time. I love my md.

A big thumbs up for hybrids. More verastile than a long iron and much easier to hit. I love my Burner 3H and don't think I'll be changing it for a long time. It has been a constant in my bag for years.

I use a Ping i15 20 deg hybrid...I ditched my 5 wood as the hybrid was somehow longer than it so its left me room for an extra wedge at the other end....

My longest iron is a 4 iron but i still like to hit this too...I mainly use it off the tee's rather than the fairway..

I may use it the odd time off the fairway though if needs be.

Have an old Wilson Staff Dh 21 degree hybrid thats been in my bag longer than any other club. I prefer it to the hybrids out there today as the face is a little shallower which for some reason convinces me i can hit it from the fairway easier !

Ive got 2 Adams A7 really easy to hit and they go like a rocket but thats more to do with the shaft.

I think they're pretty reasonable from direct golf at the moment.

Have got 16 and 19 degree hybrids in the bag at the moment, but will probably take the 19 out shortly for the summer, and put the three iron back in. I find long irons harder to hit in the winter when the course is soft, but nice firm fairways are just right.
