Andy Sullivan

I said yesterday at the club that if he could have another 65 or 66 round he'd win it, and he only went and did!

Great season to date, the security the 1st win gave him was great, this is just so much icing on the cake, and I think there's so much more to come.

You wouldn't meet a nicer bloke, chuffed for him

Moved into Top 60 in the world and secured a spot at the Open. He must be absolutely buzzing!

Always looks like he is enjoying playing the game and always seems to be smiling

Hopefully it's a start of a great career for him

Good to see someone play with a smile on their face. reminds me a bit of Ian Woosnam they way he attacks the course, and what a putting stroke.

I reckon he will hold our course record with a 60 for some time.

Has done it again. What a win!!

I wish he was still GM playing editor!

Great result!

No coincidence that since playing the Centurion in the "Play with a Ping Pro" he's had 2 wins on Tour......:whoo::whistle:

Similarly, since Ollie Fisher became our attached touring Pro and started practicing here, he's had some great results...........

Now, if only I could get the hang of our SSS....:sbox::rant:

3 wins this season for Mr Sullivan now. Okay, not the most high profile events on the European Tour but he certainly has got a nose for winning. Fair play to him.

Played very well - now just needs to move up to the next level into WGC etc

Good to see an unfashionable player winning. Hope he gets another. 9 shots better than the second placed player is remarkable.
He was playing a totally different standard of golf to the rest of the field. Missed one green today where he got up and down out of the deep rough through the back of the green, and if his putter had been hotter he could have gone very low.

I would like to think my chat to him at Woburn inspired him, but perhaps not.;)

He was one of the Pros in the GM/Ping ProAm at Gainsborough and he came across (as they all did) as very friendly, good fun and very approachable

Good for him
