Mrs Hobbit took a tumble on the ice yesterday... she got 4.9 off the Russian judge!!

Sadly, she had broken her wrist quite badly - operation today and 3-4months recovery. I have asked that they set the cast at an angle that will allow her to iron my golf gear but the Consultant has had a sense of humour by-pass.

With trips to Royal Lytham, Woburn & Slaley in the next 3 weeks I need someone to do the ironing, and for a bit of extra dosh I'm hoping they'll make up some sandwiches for HID to tide her over whilst I'm away.

Allegedly I'm a ##### pig! Harsh I say.

Brilliant Post Hobbit! hope Mrs Hobbit recovers soon, you will be wasting away and looking like a tramp if she doesnt!

I take it she has done her right hand and is right handed... time to learn how to iron as a leftie i fell!! practice makes perfect!

My MIL slipped over on the weekend and broke her leg, silly girl!

Ironing in a cast is easy! I've broken both wrists (one of them twice) and continued to iron without any problems. I even did my own ironing when I broke my collarbone.

Get her a Groomstik!

The first time I broke my left wrist (in my teens) I was out on the pitch and putt a week later, still in my cast. They were not happy when they had to re-break and re-cast it as it had started to mend in the wrong position.

Jeesh... :smirk:

On a serious note... sorry to hear about your wife Hobbit, hope she gets well soon.

You'll just have to treat yourself to some new clobber 3 full outfits by the sounds to get over the stress of HID accident.

hope the op is a success and hrs hobbit recovers back to full health soon

Ouch! Sorry to hear that Hobbit, sounds like a nightmare. Would try and find something funny to say to lighten the mood but I don't think it's appropriate, but I hope it wasn't her 'good hand' if you know what I mean? :p
