Amusing Voice Recognition Gaffs

I was in a Wetherspoons at lunch time today. The quiet TV was probably more compelling to watch and note the odd mistake from the voice recognition.

The 2 notable ones that made me smile:

The Ukranian President is attempting to create a call Asian parliament

I have a friend who has quite a posh Shires accent, she has trouble booking cinema seats via voice recognition.
She has to put on a mock Scottish accent to make it work. [naaamba becomes numberrrrrr ]

Back in the mid 80's when I used to work in a Branch of Barclays, we had a great Geordie bloke called Steve and his accent was as thick as it could be.

One day a load of items came back from the typing pool all addressed to "Elliot Shaw"
This was spotted and queried , turns out he was dictating "Memo to L H O" the abbreviation for Local Head Office

Oh how we laughed
