Hi Amanda, as promised some photos from the Bruce Springsteen exhibition in Philadelphia, from when I followed LFC on their USA tour recently.

It includes his car which he has had on some of the album covers, a bike he cruises around on, some original lyrices sheets and the clothes he wore for the cover of the born in the USA album.

I had to surreptitiously take these, as only photos allowed for the car, but couldn't resist.

It was a great exhibition and bought some born in the USA t-shirts, which I loved.

Enjoy.

Thanks for posting these.Been a fan since "The Wild, The Innocent" album with Rosalita still being one of my favourite songs. The best gigs I've ever seen with the energy levels still up there in his 60's. A great lesson to all musicians that the fan pays your wages - Springsteen treats each gig as an event and it shows. A couple of years ago at the Emirates I had a look around the stadium and it gave me goose bumps to see a full stadium all jumping up and down to Born to Run.
Was his old Esquire guitar there? He uses a copy of that guitar on stage as it's now too delicate to take on tour.

To people who've seen him this year, how is the band now? I couldn't bring myself to go to the gigs as it just doesn't seem the same without Clarence Clemmons.

Very cool - thanks for posting.

Lee - I'm a long time fan and have seen many shows so like you was unsure about life without the Big Man never mind Danny. We saw Bruce at The Etihad and for me it was the best show ever and that's saying something. Clarence's nephew Jake seemed to keep some continuity on the sax somehow and a short eulogy to Clarence was very nicely done - made lots cry...including me!

That's good to hear - the Emirates gigs were not long after Danny Federici died and Springsteen played "Sandy" in memory of him plus told a few funny stories about his penchant for getting in trouble with the law.
The Hyde Park gig is on Sky Arts 1 this Friday.

I heard some bad reviews about Hyde Park. Mainly the sound system rather than Bruce but not his best performance by all accounts. Will watch it and Sky+ it though - thansk for the heads up.

Is the first picture the one of the guitar your talking about. He said when he wears this, he feels it's a part of him. Some more pictures for you. Some more lyrics (and potential changes), a jacket from the river I think.

Didn't get to see hime this time round - friend of mine went to a few of his European gigs & tells me he's better than ever. He saw him in Helsinki - 5 song acoustic set as a warm-up, then a 4-hour show. Sounded pretty special.
