You can choose to buy from ethical sellers, but yes, very difficult to be 100% assured of the source. By not buying blatant fakes, you’ve half a chance, but for many it makes no difference if they save a few pennies.

To me that means I support the team, not the owner. Am sure fans of Man Utd, MoreCombe, Reading and apologies to the fans of other clubs I have missed, whose owners who are deemed “ fit and proper” and are anything but.

Team players need wages. Merchandise allows that. Doesn’t matter how you present it, it’s tosh.

I’m a United supporter, so fully understand your point and if I was twelve and still wore match shirts, I’d buy official merchandise.

Trust me as a Reading fan, nobody can accuse our current owners of being fit and proper! Absolute charlatans that have done their best to take all they can from the club and leave us on the brink!

Soon as we can find a new owner the better and we don’t care if they’re a sugar daddy billionaire or a scraped together consortium as long as they’re interests are the club first and self importance and what they can rinse us for 2nd then we’d be happier.

Although I didn't order anything they are now bombarding me with advert emails. But they keep changing the name before the @mail.aliexpress.com so the auto spam doesn't work

The two head covers I ordered arrived at the weekend, really surprised how good the quality is. The t shirt I ordered for free shipping on the other hand, I should have sized up about 3 sizes
