I have been watching the Dunhill today and saw the one-legged Manuel De Los Santos. What an inspiration. He lost his leg six yers ago and took up golf four years ago. He now plays off a handicap of 3 and can carry a drive over 260 yards! He doesn't use a buggy but walks the course with the aid of crutches. What a guy!

Was tempted to pop down today but weather put me off.

Quite impressed by Tim Henmans play. He beat Monty by a few shots gross yesterday. The amateurs aren't meant to do that are they?

Sounds like he plays golf better than he played tennis.

:D

A bit harsh on a guy that got to number 3 in the world and was about at the same time as Pete Sampress who is thought to be one of the greats.

You have to go back along time (late 60's) to Roger Taylor to find a better English player.

As for Henman and his golf wasn't he a junior champion of some sorts and could have made a career at golf but choose tennis instead?
