Ageism on the forum

Peter Alliss was pro at my club , return to do the opening of the updated club house , made a speech and drop a few clangers i am told by those that where there , he does that from time to time but he is still good at what he does ......................good player in his time but did not putt to well , plate on his car is 3 putt i am lead to believe

Was each day a dress down day - cool!

Actually it was a relaxed dress code! Having come out of a couple of relationships and with a boss who was top class, still the best I've worked for, it was so much fun and I enjoyed going in every day. Drinks most nights at one of the many pubs, a chance to chat up and fail to pull any of the women. Add in playing Sunday footie with a great bunch of lads, drinking with my old man every Sunday lunchtime and some wedge in my pocket it was a great time to be alive

1992 - living with my first wife but shagging the heck out of a girl I had used to know beforehand. :o:lol:

What were we all doing this week in 1992 ?

Working on contract for WH Smith in Swindon, separated from wifee 1; had just met future wifee 2; still playing and umpiring hockey and tennis; playing village cricket; and was just considering getting involved with Golf!

PUT 3. He lives near me, and often see his car around Farnham. He used to have an office next to me when he worked with Clive Clark, course designing.

Did you live in Swindon? If you did it all makes sense!
