Aftermarket shaft for RBZ

Looking to change out my stock regular shaft I have in my stage 1 RBZ and i'm after some recommendations.
Don't necessarily want or need a stiff shaft, I just feel this one in particular is far softer than usual regular flex, and feels really whippy and long.
Basically I like the head, i find it really forgiving and looks nice, but just feel the club could be so much better with a better shaft.
Have seen people say before that the driver becomes a whole different animal so to speak with an aftermarket shaft in it, but I'm not clued up in this area and would have no idea what to go for.

Currently, my miss is a fade more than I would like, but I usually have a straight ball flight.
The shots I hit with my driver always look like I have absolutely ripped them but the drives tend to just drop out of the sky almost, and i usually get a carry of around 210-220, even though they do look like they were going to go a lot further.
Don't know if any of this information is helpful at all in deciding what shaft to go for but thought I i'd include it anyway to help with any recommendation.

I get excellent results from the "Made for Taylormade" Ozik HD6, which was supplied with the TP version of the RBZ 1. More piercing flight, you'd get the same from the Ozik Black Tie. I've got one in my SLDR and it tames my higher than desirable flight.

Cheers for that. Have heard a lot of people talk about it, but just assumed it was more suited to the TP head so never really looked into it.
One of the shafts that is common on ebay is the aldila nv and the nvs, saw an nvs go for 20 quid the other day which I was going to bid on but forgot.

Have still got a TP RIP 60 beta stiff shaft, with an R11 tip (fits RBZ too), for £30

TP shafts are just proper versions with TM graphics usually, not specifically more suited to a particular head.

Depends on the shaft mate, I used to have a regular for winter and move to stiff when the weather warmed up, as the swing was easier in the warmer months and usually more powerful.

I'd look at a TM TP shaft in regular but be aware some of the regular TP shafts such as the Ozik HD6 play firm to flex. All TP shafts are real deal shafts and can be generally be picked up between £30 and £60.

I'm surprised that nobody has taken BT's arm off on his shaft as it's a give away price for a quality shaft.

Also keep an eye out for Cleveland Classic Custom Shafts, they're real deal shafts and I picked up a Miyazaki JDL for £30 which I put in my R1, (had to swap out the adaptor).

One thing to be aware of is that although there is a lot of hype on shafts, you won't necessarily get more distance from a real deal shaft. If you are hitting the ball well and it isn't ballooning, if it's going relatively straight, chances are it's not far off the mark. Also be aware that if you are fighting a fade/slice, if your swing path is good the chances are a stiffer or heavier shaft will emphasize your fade.

It may be that by taking an inch off the tip you may be able to firm up your current shaft and reduce the length which may solve the problem, (research the shaft and tip trimming), however if you're going to buy blind look at your flight, how you want to change it and then research the shaft its their characteristics.

Yeh i'm not really hell bent on getting more distance although If i stopped the ball dropping out the sky so to speak I might see an increase. Just after a better feeling shaft for the club really, it currently feels like i'm just swinging an alignment stick, and when I used my mates ratpure v2 which has a heavier shaft It did feel a lot better and I did get more distance. The current shaft I have is the Xcon 5 which I heard is notorious for people not liking in the RBZ.

I don't necessarily want to buy blind either, but I cant see any other option as most shops don't just have shafts there I can go try unless I was buying a brand new club, which has tempted me but probably (definitely) shouldn't haha
