Seems he's been sacked with immediate effect and the contract of Andy Townsend isn't being renewed. Is there anything to this as it seems strange to terminate someone's contract with immediate effect without an underlying reason. I can understand Townsend's contract not being renewed as he's only marginally better than Michael Own or Phil Neville as a co-commentator

Well it's about time if this is true. AC isn't brilliant and seems to always be looking for a controversial angle or to "make" a talking point. AT comes out with such guff you would think he'd never played the game. I really do wonder if he's watching the same match sometimes. He doesn't even seem to understand the offside rule.

After all the hype and build up from Sky found Henry to be poor

Carra is getting some stick because he is been extremely critical - especially on Monday when he ripped Can apart - not sure if he is doing to ensure he isnt biased

Souness is shocking , Redknapp is poor

Best ones always seem to be the ones for the World Cup - Seedorf , Desially etc

Kamara is comedy gold , Walsh is good , Le Tiss , McNally

But the holy trinty of shocking are - Owen , Neville and Townsend

Merson is good entertainment & Danny Murphy is decent.
