One thing I know is the old silver Taylormade wrenches have a lower torque rating than the white ones.

I use a white TM one on my Ping 3 wood and on Titleist heads without any problem.

As per my post #3
They are torque wrenches (with a torx fitting on the end)
The silver TM had a torque rating of 30psi
the white TM 40psi
I didn't clock the adjustment tool was a torque wrench.
But, if totally honest, that wouldn't stop me using a torx driver and tightening it up by hand to a point I considered tight enough;)

I have one TM wrench that I've owned forever - it's probably about 12 years old because it came with a second hand R11 driver - and it's so far fit every adjustable club I've ever owned since. 😄

I "upgrade" my wrench with every driver lol

I have just used a screwdriver with the attachment for the hosel .. just didn't do it up super tight
