Ace or Albatross?!

So going on from the recent thread, which is more common, a Hole in One or an Albatross on a par 5?!?!
and which one is more satisfying??

I think an Albatross would be rarer but I would rather get a hole in one!

I was the 'unfortunate' person who got the albatross but has never had a hole in one. I would swap it in a heartbeat! Like Monty would swap all his ryder cups for a major! Hole in one every time

i would have to agree with above,i haven't had an albatross but to me it would feel obviously a little bit better than an eagle on a par 4 but just not as good as a hole in 1.

i'd rather have the hole in 1.

and maybe one on a par 4.....2 birds with 1 stone

Never had an Albatross in competition play, but somehow I've had more satisfaction getting eagles than my hole in one.

One of my mates has played Whitekirk near North Berwick twice, 1'st time round he had an albatross 1 on par 4 2nd hole, second time he hit it to about a foot, tap in eagle 2. 5 under total for one only playing it twice, now that's lucky

As there isn't a par 4 or 5 I can hit to even attempt an albatross on my course I'd have to settle for a hole in 1.
