These things should be labelled ACME and be used by Wile-E-Coyote....
Hit it. Hitting or jarring a magnet will demagnetise it. Also a stronger magnet will pull the bits off.

More to the point.... What you doin' playing with a Mizuno putter in the first place? There's some proper putters out there if you look 
Next time just run it over with your car a few times... that'll certainly help the putter even if the magnet doesn't come off

..I'll have you know that my Mizzy putter is a thing of beauty (or it was before I started attaching magnets to it), and outperformed both my Oddyssey 2 ball and SC california on the practise green...It plays like a breeze block attached to a scaffolding pole on the course, but on the practise green it's lethal...

I have a load of these rare earth magnets at work. They are pretty awesome, but should still come off ok. This is why I take my watch off if I'm wearing my titleist mitts though.

Is it just me that thought the flowers were stuck to it 
Been unable to follow this today as I've been out on hospital wards helping out because of the strikes and was desparate to see the outcome. Glad it got resolved and I got an education into magnetic fields too

Get your priorities right man... My putter was minimally affected by an additional 3 grammes of metal,,, the outcome could have been disastrous to my round in the morning... tomorrow could be my 3rd loss this week...
