A strange round today...

Front 9 - hooking everything. Except on the 9th when I blasted one 260 down the middle. Only time I found the fairway. Hit 4 GIR and took 18 putts for 16 points. How I'm not sure at all. Some very poor play.

Back 9 - slicing everything. Except on the 17th when I blasted one 255 down the middle. Hit 2 fairways but 5 GIR. 16 putts for 21 points.

Moral?

I score better when I'm slicing!!

I had one of those rounds 2 weeks ago Imurg...Nothing went right......This weekend just gone i turned with 15 points was playin well and then everything fell apart on the back 9 i scrambled my way round and relly striggled and took 8 points off the back for a total of 23 and a .1 increase...

The highlight of my back 9 was knocking a 7iron into the lake in front of the tee box on the 17th which was playing 175 mtrs down wind....Teed up again with said club for my 3rd shot and knocked it to 6 feet on the top tier of the green and putted for a 4 for 2 points...surprise was an understatement....Off to 18 then and bashed it OOB for a scratch again.

Sounds like my round yesterday.

Hit about 2 fairways but made 5 GIR's. Hit my irons beautify and chipped well. Just couldn't make any putt's either.

Scored ok and shot an 89 in the end. 42 out 47 back.

I just had no idea where my next drive was going. Big slice, duck hook, big pull, top it 60 yards. Not a good feeling when you're standing on the tee

I feel a bit of a range session coming tonight to work out what the hells going on No doubt I'll nail them all straight as an arrow on the range.

Its the pressure of having to up his game to fight off The Fragger every friday.

Still, he cant be doing too much wrong if he still managed to scrape 37 points
