But he needs to sort his own game out rather than worry about mine

I think that when I am playing well, he gets intimidated and then tries too hard, resulting in errors.

Agreed he cant compete with me if im scoring 40+ points and everyone agrees that my handicap is still 4 or 5 shots too high, but as I said previously, yesterdays record score would only have seen a 1.5 shot reduction.

The system is missing the ability to severely chop a player who is rapidly improving, Im entering all the comps I can and also putting in supplimentary cards . My handicap will come down, but it will take months to achieve especially if they phart about with CSS

And trying to get the club to reinstate the .5 ESR reduction is like talking to a brick wall

As far as Im concerned im off 18.7, but the club are insisting on 19.2 GRRRR

To set the record straight, I haven't been worrying about your game for Months because we're playing different games. As you say, I can't compete so I don't. I play my own game to the best of my ability - which at the moment is very limited. The trying too hard is down to me trying to play well not to beat you.......

And I would just like to point out that to beat El Bandido above I would have had to shoot 2 under par gross...........something I have done twice in my illustrious 20 year Golf career.

Either way, you are playing off 19.

Just keep putting Supplementary cards in and winning comps and it'll happen. ESRs are an attempt to help the rapidly improver, so keep pushing the club - keep asking for your handicap record!

And don't worry, enjoy the success while you can. Once you're down to your stable level, you'll start complaining that you can't play to your handicap!

No I wasnt late, we were teeing off at 8.57 and I was there by 8.50 , you were just early
and The reason I spent 10 minutes in the clubhouse was talking to the handicap guy and the "pro" about reinstating my .5 ESR cut. in an attempt to cut out the incessant wingeing.

Fat chance, The "Pro" Didnt even know what an ESR cut was

Think ill do a Lance Armstrong and give up, just keep putting the cards in
