A Fitting Tribute or Politicising a Sad Event

Not for me. Does just seem like they are jumping on the bandwagon.

Seve will be honoured for as long as the tour runs and continues to grow. The world of golf will never forget the legend he was. Not sure this the right thing to do though.

Seve was a great one for using every trick in the book to get any decision to go his way.

He loved the Ryder Cup, and always wanted to get it played in Spain.

So I reckon he'd be more than happy to use sentimentality to get the game played over there. If it's too late for this one, then it'll be a shoe-in for the next one.

:D

It's been held in Spain before though. On the one hand I can't blame the Spanish for milking the situation to their advantage but on the other hand Seve is all the rage today but by 2018 i'm sure it'll be a different story.

I think the decision to go to France was made without emotion and will likely turn out to be the right choice.
