Re the MD driving iron - what sort of distance do you get compared to driver / 3 wood? I'm toying with the idea of a driving iron but would be good to see what sort of distance people are getting compared to drivers etc. £25 could be worth a punt!

It was more an experiment on trying to keep it in play on short par fours and on longish par threes.

I would say off a tee I was getting between 190-200 yards (depending on the strike)
