Do not rely on the belt clip of your SC2.5 !

Yesterday morning, leaving as usual with arms full, I attached the GPS to my belt. Horror of horrors on exiting the car no GPS, though the clip was still there. Frantic search, still no GPS. Friday was spent in deep gloom.

Getting back home on Friday I put notices in the flats and on those cars regularly parked here. Joy of joys a call this morning to say that it had been found and is now safely restored (thank you Darren).

So take care.

I clip mine to the bag on the first tee, and then take it off on the 18th. It seems secure enough. I wouldn';t want it on my belt.

Happy for you that it turned up though.

Although it says you should keep the SC in the open, I kept mine in my fleece top pocket and it seemed to work fine. The belt clip provided is the same as used to be given away with mobile phones years ago - they were crap then!

keep mine in small pocket in my bag.......still works despite claims you need to keep it outside bags as have played with mate who has his clipped outside his bag and the two have read the same throughout our round.

The clip for my SC broke on my first round but i have learnt it is very easy to not actually clip it in! You have to hear a click if not it will fall off. I put mine on my trolley clip now though and am always cautious to ensure its secure- as I am sure others will be having read this.

It's good that a decent enough person picked it up though, i take it it wasn't damaged in anyway?

I keep mine in the right hand front trouser pocket (tees and balls in the left to protect the screen) and never have any problems. I gave up the belt clip as it felt awkward, the bag was knocking into it and I never felt 100% confident it was attached properly

I fasten bag onto trolley with the trolley straps, then clip SG2 onto the top strap. Tension on the strap around bag means there's never been any danger of it coming off - and its always handily visible.

Same as that...seems very secure so far.
