- Was +2 thanks to my driver - didn't miss a fairway and hit some good-uns. Forum distances on occasion in fact! Looking forward to some decent rounds with a medal card. Hoping anyway...

We must have a game soon - come up to God's country - you will love the course I play at. Amazing to get a couple of new putters and compare them to my old TPXVII. Since I had a really fat Super Stroke grip put on the latter, it feels absolutely terrible. Hard to describe but so light in the head and very vague when you swing the head back. Most strange.

How I wish I hadn't read that. Pleased for you to putt so much better but it's a putter I am really hankering after and trying hard to resist. It's wonderfully balanced with a great feel off the face and at Silvermere tomorrow and can't help thinking it'll end up an expensive trip
