Our society achieves its 50 th in 2026.
I have been tasked with the job of arranging something a little different to celebrate this milestone and was wondering if anyone has been involved in similar which stood out as really memorable event.
Anything considered as we will run several events over the year, golf comps, social events, maybe a few days abroad wtc
Cheers

Can you add a little more detail as to what you are looking for, it will help with the replies. Are you talking about an evening event, a daytime event, a trip away, does it involve playing golf still? The more info you give, the better, hopefully, the replies.

As it's a golf society, I would suggest a good away course/stay. Something special, like a Gleneagles trip, couple of nights and few rounds of golf . That's what I would think would probably be memorable.

Massive acheivement. A 50 year old society. Any founder members still playing? Unlikely I know. Return to a course they played in the early days?

If you say what "you usually do," it's easier to suggest stuff that might be special in a 50th anniversary year! ;)

If your last three outings were Rye, Swinley and Sunningdale... you're doing ok as it is! :ROFLMAO:
if the last 3 were those, I'd suggest Royal Saint Godstone to really push the boat out!
