I was hoping to arrange for some forumers playing the H4H day at Liphook, to play at Blackmoor the day afterwards.

Unfortunately i will not be around that day so this will no longer be an option. To be fair after the recent course maintenance, and the summer drought, i would not be recommending playing the course.

If those that are looking for a game put their name down on this thread, perhaps someone could then take up the reins and sort a game out ?

An option worth looking at would be West Byfleet. There are a couple of members on the forum who could give more details of the course. i have played it a couple of times, lovely course and not unlike North Hants. Green fees are very reasonable at £55, and a four ball is £180 (£45 a head) The course is not far fron New Zealand golf course, just the other side of Woking. Not too far for those staying in Aldershot area.

Apologies having to bale on this one, but hopefully there will be time to get a new venue sorted.

Thanks for the update Rich 👍
Josh-Chiefi0 & myself would be up for a game if there is an opportunity! Any other 2 for a 4 ball somewhere?

Golf now sorted & playing a Pairs Open for just £30 at Ullesthorpe GC on way back up't Narth
That’s Crow’s club. I may be playing in the singles open on the 5th. The greens can be very slick and my best score in three attempts is 109 😕

It'll be a bit of a come down after the courses you'll have played earlier in the week Dave but it's a friendly club.
I'm working on the Wednesday (I say working, actually I'm entertaining a client at another course) or I'd have looked out for you. I am playing in the singles on the Friday, my last qualifier of the year but too late for the H4H challenge. :(

The old difficult par 5 first hole has now been replaced with a short par 4 and par 3 but beware, these are very easy holes to rack up a big score on.

The (not great) website gives a few steers on strategy but if you want any tips give me a shout.

It'll be our 4th day of golf Nick so we'll not be expecting to do much... just an interesting stop-off on our way back as Josh has the whole week off so is looking to make the most of it & as he's driving I can take my rest at any time.... & by hell I really do need it these days
