Do people really want it?
Silly glasses?
Or are munufacturers just forcing us to buy them as nearly all big tvs now come with 3 d
Can you turn it off and just watch normal 2d?

I have a 3d tv. Got it a couple of months ago as my old one was knackered. I thought I might as well get a 3d to future proof it incase 3d takes off. I have watched a couple of films and a few football matches on it and it is quite impressive. Some people complain about headaches but as yet hasn't affected me. I noticed the other day that BBC were testing 3d on one of their digital channels so in the future there may be much more available.
As regards 2d tv, the set defaults to 2d it only offers you the option of switching to 3d when it detects a 3d signal.

I have seen a beautiful new telly but won't buy it because it is 3D. Everything else it has I would use but not that. If they bring out a non 3D version I'll dip into my pocket.

3d is a fad I feel for home tv until its better and doesnt need glasses

P.S you cant go wrong with a Panny, Pioneer was the leading co in the world for panels and after they pulled out of the market Panny took over. LG and Samsung are pretty good but the best is Panny
