At the moment that's probably wishful thinking, but he does stand a chance in at least one I suppose. I really rate Westy.
Tiger will only improve as he gets back into the swing of things.
Ogivly will probably get another big win this year, whether a Major who can say.
I'm Hoping Sergio & Casey get something. Think I'm going to be rooting for Rory Mclroy this year. Wasn't a fan of his last year, but we need a Tiger killer & I think Rory can be our own home grown example. And not before time.
Masters - Woods
US Open - Villegas
The Open - Kaymer
USPGA - Casey
Hard to pick out any front runners (except for the obvious at the top of the list). Just hope McIlroy, Donald and Jimenez all have good tournaments and that the spanish brat ends up with nothing (sorry Sergio fans)
I think those that are tipping McIlroy to win a major this year are being overly ambitious. I totally respect the precocious talent he has and the huge breakthrough he has made on the world stage and feel sure his time will come and he will be a dominant force worldwide. However he has only one tour win to his name and has already given away several others. I just don't feel he has the experience both mentally and playing to cope with the huge media pressure and the heat of battle.
Its just my opinion. I am sure he has major championships in him just not in 2009.
Can't say who will win what, but i don't think Sergio is in a place where his putting will stand up just yet. Harrington stinks at the mo (hope he can turn it around) McIlroy is not ready... YET. Kim "P?!(£", please, if there is a god NO!!!!
Casey, Hope so but not this year, Donald?, i'd be happy if he gets back to full fitness this year.
ELS, Mickelson, Furyk definately not.
