I'm almost certain that 118golf.co.uk if that's who you mean do sell legitimate clubs, it's just their service isn't very good. Why not try price matching on american golf, and if they accept the price match then go with them.

Sorry, but how can they offer them at that price ? must be too good to be true ? I cant find a contact number on their website either, just an address and email.

Anyway, if its genuine, I would snap there hands off :)

That's a bit harsh. I've not heard one comment about fake gear, I've ordered things in the past and they don't sell fakes. They just sell stuff cheap, when they don't have it in stock and leave you hanging on for weeks.

Rubbish service? Yes. Fakes? No.

Very good, never had a problem. I heard once that they don't often have stock that's shown online so I always phone up to check and order over the phone. Very good service!

Definitely not fake, though have heard that their Customer Service can leave a bit to be desired. Could well be that stock advertised is not always in their hands - reducing overheads, so better prices.

They have a real address that I occasionally pass nearby.

Way I understand it they are drop shippers. So don't physically carry a lot of the items. Drop ship suppliers are bad at updating real-time stock levels and this creates the problems. The selling company (acting as the "shop") often don't know that the item isn't in stock until customers contact them to complain.
Used to run my own PC business and in part used drop-shipping but stopped due to these very issues.

Wouldn't use them again if they were the last online retailer in the world. Awful customer service. They never say stuff isn't in stock. Out an order in and it took nearly three months to be fully shipped and even then one item was the worng size. Hard to get hold off to complain to. They are definitely legit - just crap

yes, used them....but can't remember what for! Had no issues whatsoever!

avoid them like the plague. They ignore you, don't answer e-mails and there is no phone number to contact them. Customer service is crap. I sent a pair of 90 pound Footjoys back under warranty as they were letting water in and one tongue came away in my hand, this was back in April, sent repeated e-mails, they only answered a couple. Told me that they sent them to Footjoy. Finally told me that footjoy had refunded them and they would refund me. Waited ages and finally I contacted Footjoy who confirmed they had sent them a credit. Last I heard from 118 was that it was with there accounts dept and could not understand why it had not been paid but he would check up and get back to me. (3 weeks ago and still waiting). Have not answer an email since. I contact Trading Standards and they advised me to send a registered letter and if I did not hear from them within 28 days I should take action. Still waiting for a reply to my letter. Annoying thing is they wont tell me what the problem is.
