No easy answer very much depends on how you feel with your short game. Bit long winded but my wedge fitting at St Ives is below
I have T300's with PW and GW of 43 and 48. I then have vokey 52.08 / 56.14 and 60.08.
This is purely down to how I was fit down at titleist based on turf interaction...
For me tends to be every 4 or 5 years. I seem to like Titleist drivers having gone 905 / 910 / 915 / TSI3, they just seem to suit my eye and give me best results. I've never really got on with Taylormade or Callaway drivers for some reason (always give each release a hit) which helps in this...
If it is a Titleist Thursday then I always found these really good and not all that much different to going to the National Fitting centre at St Ives. They have all the shafts etc and heads you need and you are not obligated to buy on the day as you tend to order after through your Pro. As...
Currently use the Taylormade TP glove, very soft feeling, seem to stand up to wear and tear and the fit seems good for my hand. They can also be found at good discount / Bulk deals.
I use Footjoy winter and rain gloves when the weather is not ideal for leather gloves
Hi Thanks, to be honest I can do both but in the main it is a start right and fade as one of the feels my pro got me doing was to cure the out to in (over the top) feeling.
Hi,
Just wondering what peoples thoughts were on draw bias drivers and if any use them? I am debating trying them out to see if they help manage my natural shot shape.
I am a natural fader of the ball probably due in no small fact to having been an opening bat who's favourite shot was a cover...
Have had a look The fairways look about £20 RRP cheaper to the TS range 279 - 299. The Driver £20 more expensive 519 - 499. I think the TS were sold at 449 initially from memory so maybe Drivers 469 fairways 229 online at a guess
Still a lot of cash :(
At my home course, used to start with a Par 3, lots of people about in captains day competition, thinned my tee shot (7 iron) which hit the yellow tee marker 10 yards ahead of me, ricocheted straight back over my head and the groups waiting, one bounce just missing the presidents car onto the...
Hi,
Just back from a Team Titleist Fitting opportunity at St Ives for the new TSI drivers and fairways and thought I would give a quick update on my opinions / results. Apologies in advance for lack of forum yardages.
Firstly thankyou to Paul who did my fitting and Titleist for the...
Up until a couple of weeks ago on every hole that wasn't a par 3 working on the theory that the closer I am to the green and therefore hitting less club the better.
However I've now started hitting a 19 degree hybrid off 3 or 4 holes as the potential miss with my hybrid is not as destructive...
One was from a fitting after attending a Titleist Thursday, the second one I picked up recently from an American Golf it was an ex demo so was really cheap and pretty much brand new. The weights and head cover came with it
