i had same issue with my hybrid and certainly since hitting new driver. I like you have tried with a stronger grip pn the driver and thats flying straight most of the time. I have relaxed the grip slightly on the hybrid, play it central in my stance and it seems to go straighter :)

All 3 are great courses. Hillside is my favourite and while the front 9 is great the back 9 is simply awesome. Greg Norman said once is was the best consecutive 9 holes in the UK ! West Lancs is brutal, not played Lytham but expect its great. Either way enjoy!

Its a good test , 27 holes although the comps are always played on 1-18 - 19-27 is a little more attractive in terms of its scenary. Holes to mention 3rd, Par 5 Impossible to hit in two, The 9th(originally the 18th) is one hell of a tough par 4 as is the 13th. Greens run true with subtle breaks...

Thanks Ethan for your advice. I hit them well but with a 10 yd fade at the end. If I try and close the face i end up pulling it.
