I'm pleased the majority hate this as it really winds me up. I was writing about how especially new golfers can really take this advice as gospel and how it does more harm than good
Whilst writing my latest blog I got onto the "advice" that's given out on the course by other golfers.
Things like "you moved your head" or "you swung to fast"
What are the best and worst bits of advice you have been given on the course?
I seem to have developed a problem where I can't line myself up properly, will hit a good straight shot just not at the target and then hear from my playing partner "you where aiming over there"
Any advice?
Cheers
Thanks Mike, I'm starting to see improvement in my game and I've defo got the bug, I'm looking forward to hopefully playing and improving for many years, I miss playing footy but not the pain I was in at the end,
It's a very daunting experience mate, I joined a club as 28 handicapper and played my first members roll up on a sat morning, I found that by just explaining to people that I was new to the game and didn't fully understand all the rules that people would go out of there way to be helpful and...
Thanks for all the positive comments and feedback, i'm glad some people enjoyed it.
I have added a subscribe option to my website www.thesecretgolfer.com if you would like to be notified when my new blogs are posted.
Cheers

There is a premier inn in Chichester gate (google that) which is close to Goodwood or the Chichester Park Hotel (even closer). You may get a good deal at the Goodwood hotel but I doubt it.
