Wife quizzing me about golf timescale this morning as she wanted to go and deliver Fathers day cards/gifts, only to turn the Faff meter up to 11 when I got back rather than actually getting ready.
Just got home from my first 9 holes in about 12 months, after spending the last couple of free days at the range. Shot 49 and made my first ever par. Absolutely chuffed. Managed to avoid getting soaked as well. Bonus.
I had my very first 'proper' lesson today, with use of a trackman. My god what a difference an hour makes it was a revelation!

Haha, I've been playing for about 3 months, he's been pro for the last 10 years, I don't think there will be many club selection convos going on. I suppose my question should've been. Any advice on things I should definitely avoid doing?
