The course is out at the South End of the town. You're right, it is fairly open but the rough is quite thick and the ball sits right down in it so its tough to get out of. The greenkeeper has it like this as its the main defence the course has. You're also right about the wind.

I have it through talk talk, costs £30 to add it to your package but it is a rolling contract and you can remove it after 1 month. I just add it for the majors, the Ryder Cup and the darts at Christmas time.
