    Thanks all for the comments. I'm just looking to get out and about across Scotland to play on as many different courses as possible and leave the car at home. I'm in Lanarkshire with a train station on my doorstep. Keep the suggestions coming please.

    I hope someone can help me with this one. Is there a list anywhere of golf courses in Scotland that you can access from train stations nearby or a short taxi journey leaving from the station?
