I don't have an app or anything so just manually do it for the putting. SG works really well for putting because distance is a simple and useful metric to determine the difficulty of a putt - obviously not perfect but good enough. Working out SG for short game would be nigh on impossible as...
You're understanding this, but I'm not sure the rest are!
If you're -1.61 using the calc (which is pegged against pro) that's extremely good putting, especially for your handicap.
So my -3.1 SG is against pro. Difference between pro and scratch is about 2.5 shots. So your -1.2 vs scratch is like a 3.7 vs pro.
I was trying to work out what area to improve, I feel like I'm a decent putter.
Over the the last 20 rounds I averaged -3.1 SG putting and my handicap is 6.8.
Just curious to see how that compares to everyone else.

Since the new handicap system came into play in Nov '22, I've had 44 rounds. Not a single one has had a PCC adjustment applied.
With the old system, I had 130 rounds and 33 rounds had an adjustment - so around 25%.
I saw the following article...
Can someone recommend a place for this please?
Based in Cambridge so hopefully not too far away.
A bonus would be tuition too, as I think these things go together.
Thanks!
