We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!
Just tried it and they are still coming out at the same size.
Most forums will take the 3 and 4MB size. It seems this forum doesn't.
A bit inconvenient. Don't know how you would get a photo down to less than 0.5Mb without severely reducing the quality.
If I want to add some photos, how do I do it?
I've tried but I'm being told the the jpg files are too big. I have three photos but all of them are under 5MB. Two are less than 4MB.

Had a reply from Oakley.
As suspected the Heaters and the Golf Specific package has been discontinued.
I'm still pursuing them for the actual names of the lenses which may or may not help when attempting to source "copies" from other sellers.
I have bought from a seller in the USA before...
Many years ago, around the time David Duvall was playing at his best and was probably Oakley's top ambassador for wrap around shades on the PGA Tour, I bought a set of Oakley Golf Specific Heaters. At the time it cost around £180.
The set included:
1 folding M Frame
2 nose pieces
1 soft case...
There's never been a time when plus twos have not been outside of dress rules. Too many new players regard golf having started in the last 20 years. They would do well to read and learn the rich history of the game and come to understand it in a far better way.
The Golden Age was my favourite...
Unfortunately, the relaxed rules on dress code have been relaxed too far at my club.
I have been wearing my existing plus twos with lambswool sweaters and a nice cloth flat cap, (like Tom Watson used to wear), for the last couple of weeks. It's attracted the obvious attention.
When asked why...
I'm searching for some plus twos.
I don't necessarily want to buy online, I'd prefer to see them and try them on.
Looking around online, which is all I have done so far, it's seems the choice is limited. It's either some awful garish designs or JRB, which is the sort of style I am looking...
I've picked up an Aim Line Golf Putting Mirror.
In the box it came in there was a printed slip included with details on a JM Harvey who claims to be a PGA professional. He thanks you for your purchase and goes onto offer you a free "Instinctive Putting Ebook".
All you have to do is go into...
The very first Ping putters were the A-1.
There's a few on eBay and the like and they are fetching very high prices. These were the ones that the pros were climbing over each other for. Solheim was still knocking these up in his garage in Redwood.
He started making the A-1 in brass but it...
I inherited an Align 1 in BuCu from an old mate who is now playing the fairways in the sky.
My interest was perked. I bought two Yes putters, (Harold Swash also) a second hand Sandie and a Callie. The former in St St and the latter in BuCu.
I wanted to see what the difference was in...
Been reading Karsten's Way. It's biography of the founder. Interesting if you can get past all the religious stuff.
Apparently he and his wife came up with Answer. They couldn't fit it on the club. Karsten's wife made the suggestion to shorten it to Anser.
I have seen them on practice putting greens, (some years ago at Llangollen).
I have also seen them on a course on all 18 holes this year. I think it was Hawarden but I couldn't swear to it. It's been in the last few weeks, in a Senior's Open. We play somewhere every week but it's Hawarden or...
They are extremely useful when used on practice putting greens where the holes aren't cut too regularly.
Maybe not a great idea on the course where there might be rule infringements.
I have searched for some of these for personal use on our own practice putting green because the holes...
I have an Align 1. I inherited it from a mate who sadly passed away.
Duncan Swash, (Harold's son), plays with a mate of mine at Hillside.
He helped me identify mine. I'm sure he'd help you too.
You could get in touch with him through Hillside GC in Southport.
