    Lads golf trip - Paris

Any recommendations for a good golf weekend in Paris next spring would be much appreciated. Hoping we will have 2 or 3 x 4 balls. Trying to find a lovely golf course or two and somewhere nearby for a decent night out (dinner & beers). Not too interested in Le Golf National as given to understand...

Need 10 or 20 yards more off the tee, recommendations on a driver please

Dear All, thanks for all the comments and advice, on the whole lots of good food for thought which is much appreciated! The consensus seems to be investing in a new a driver isn't the solution in itself but might help if the time is taken to check it is the right one, some analyis is done on...

Not sure, maybe 230 - 240 yards, not generally considered short but not a particularly big hitter.

Hi All, We have a couple of tough par 4's on our course and I'd like to get a bit further off the tee to help with my second shots. I'm a lefty playing off 14, at the moment I am playing with an Adams tight lie, 10.5 with regular shaft. Generally happy with it but wondered if a change to...

Picturesque parkland courses for weekend break.

Thanks All Old Thorns sounds interesting; will defintely do a bit more research. Also reassuring to hear good comments about Woodhall Spa. I have played Woburn many times and agree with Robobum's comments, they are all great courses.

Picturesque parkland courses for weekend break.

Hi Rob Sorry I guess it is a bit vague, we were thinking about Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire and I am sure it is a very good course but I was thinking about maybe a course with some water holes for some drama and maybe not so famous that there will be hoards of players such as at The Belfry...

Picturesque parkland courses for weekend break.

I would be grateful for recommendations on courses within a 3 hour drive of London. Social golf rather than anything too serious for players between 14 - 24 handicap looking to play next spring.
