Time to open the Pandora's box of PCC again. Just noticed on my WHS record that my latest 10 rounds all had PCC adjustments - 5 @ +2, and 5 @ +3. My own playing level is heading due South but it can't all be down to me. I know it's heading into winter but has anyone else experienced this level...

The more common one is 2-3-4 which is best 2 on first 6 holes, best 3 on next 6 and all 4 on last 6. Can also be played as 4-3-2.

Tuesday, Friday, Sunday every week throughout the year, Wednesday 9-holer from April to September, seniors matches, knockouts, away trips - 121 QRs this year so far, have never got round to submitting a GP score.

I now know that, but I surely don't have to trawl through the England Golf website to be able to tell members of any changes to policy. We were emailed about the introduction of the adverse weather policy so why no email when it's changed?

I find it extraordinary that, as a club, we have not been advised of this change. Do I now have to subscribe to the National Club Golfer to find out about changes made by England Golf?

Interestingly, though, if you have full access to the WHS platform, the details of daily scores listed include stableford points.

The mention of golflink points, I think, in the direction of Australia, which might have been using their version of WHS longer than Britain.

I suspect that you have little or no knowledge of how Course Ratings are derived. Such sweeping statements point me to that conclusion.

It's unclear whether both clubs concerned are in the same jurisdiction.
