It doesn't say in the article and I don't know personally. The club he is/was a member of has been reduced from 18 holes to 9 in the last couple of months so my guess is he would have moved on anyway.

I snapped my 6 iron on the weekend, so have looked for a replacement on ebay. I have found one but it has the screw type hosel used for club fitting. Is there going to be any issue using this in normal play?

One thing I have heard is "Always expect your opponent to make his/her putt". I am guessing this means even if he/she is 20ft away don't automatically think you have won, you have to be ready to clinch it yourself.

I didn't know that. Using him as the base I would get 7 shots and they would get 8 & 9. I just thought because I was the lowest on the day off 19 I would just give them 1&2.
Up in the hotel a pint of 1664 is around £4.80/£4.90 I think. The cellar does seem to be cheaper and it is exactly as it sounds, low ceiling, now windows. A boozers paradise :whistle:
