As the title suggest, this may seem like a daft question, but is the grass on the green a different type than the grass on or the fairway, or is it the same type of grass that is just cut differently and with a different base etc??
I quite often play on my own too. The lads I normally play with have kids (unlike me) so golf with them has to be planned in advance, sometimes I fancy a round, so will just head off on my own. Went to France in the summer with the wife and played a round there on my own too, althoiugh she...
Evening all,
I seem to have a problem with my grip and i dont know how to solve it. Basically I seem to be hitting the ball with my irons with a very closed face, which leads to the ball going to my left. Is my grip too strong? Or too weak? Or is it my clubs - they are a beginners set with an...
i normally just wear M&S chinos -about £15 a pair or £10 from their outlet stores.

what did yoyu make of them?
port salon looks nice - hoping to add it to the itinery for next year!
I went to Donegal about 4 weeks ago for a golf break. It worked out a lot cheaper to get the ferry.Problem then is the length of the drive up to Cairnryan and back for a long weekend away. When we go next year we are looking at flying and hiring a car - all depends how much we can get it for...
Having just got back from Ireland playing links golf (see other thread!) i must admit i loved it. The weather was what you migh call typical links - changeable! Breezy one minute, throwing it down the next then sunny again 5 mins later. All this added to the appeal! Sure it was difficult at...
