    Milngavie GC - Opinions

Hi, I played it back it 1997 and thought it was a really good course. Very pretty and a good layout. I paid £8 to play it on Saturday afternoon which was a bit cheaper then the £100 I paid the next day to play Loch Lomond.

So, who's staying up for the US Open?

I don't think I can take a fifth night of staying up this late, even so I hope McDowell holes his putt.

    Kbs or project x shafts

Why do you need new shafts to improve your distance if you're hitting a 7 iron that far. I'd say you need to improve your accuracy.

    Waterproof jacket recommendation

I've a Sunice Goretex Paclite and it's never let me down. Picked it up for £75 from the European Tour website last year. They have some good stuff on there at great prices if you look at the right time.

Club Champs - can you play at two clubs?

You can only have one handicap. One club, your home club, administers your handicap. You play off that handicap at both your home and away clubs and any other courses where you may be playing.

Proud, stunned, horrified - thoughts / advice please

Rule 11-4 states a. Match Play If a player, when starting a hole, plays a ball from outside the teeing ground, there is no penalty, but the opponent may immediately require the player to cancel the stroke and play a ball from within the teeing ground.
