That's right. Ams just play for their own pot, basically a £10 per man competition sweep (which is included in the entry fee).

For Pros £100 of every Pro Entry Fee goes into their Tournament Prize Fund. For Ams £10 of every Am Entry Fee goes into their Tournament Sweep. So yes, there is 2 separate competitions. Pros out first, followed by the Amateurs. Same tees, same course up. There is a one off Amateur Membership...
