Im trying to do the same thing at the moment, I hit much more consistent shots with a slower a backswing and then smooth through the ball. I find it so much ''easier'' to strike the ball well with a controlled back swing.
This is the same at our place, 3 weeks ago we had a trolley ban, now their allowing summer wheels again even though the course is still as wet as it has been all winter. We either have long soggy grass or bare muddy lies that are awful to chip from around the greens.
Played a different course today thats usually dry all year. Wish I hadn't, it made my usual course where I'm a member seem like augusta. Couldn't hit a shot without it ending up plugging.
We have the same problem, just when you think spring has arrived and it starts drying out it pours down again. I was hoping to play today but after a downfall last night I'm just waiting to find out if its closed again.
I assume your coming up the M6 rather than M1? I'll give you a round if you don't mind playing with a higher H/C player. I was off 20 last year on golf shake.
I live in Preston so I will play anywhere around Lancashire. Im a member at herons reach in Blackpool but I wouldn't mind playing...
Just been down to the course for a bit of short game practice and whilst I was there asked about getting my handicap qualifying rounds in only to be told the tee's are still moved way forward and you can't do qualifying rounds yet.
Our greens are in a sorry state as well, they had the little...
I want to try and get to 15 handicap - not sure how realistic this is as have only just joined a club this year so don't have anything official yet. Last year I was off 20 on golf shake and I was shooting low 90's consistently with a best score or 89.
I would be happy if I could be shooting mid...
I have hole 19. I like it, its pretty easy to use and I've never had a problem with the mapping. I have a bushnell now but to be honest the distances are pretty accurate on the app and it gives you front middle and back distances which is good. It can be a bit annoying if you have own on your...
I play the areoburner hl 3 wood. It goes like a rocket - sometimes too far even. Easy to hit off the deck and tee when I put a decent swing on it. The only negative for me is it does sit a little closed so you have to be aware of this when aiming your shots. Other than that you would have to...
Thanks for all the replies. I'll definitely go back and see the pro I just wanted a second opinion to see if anyone else had experienced this problem when moving to a stiffer shaft.
I have tried both my old and new driver at the range side by side and I can still easily carry the back fence...
I can get 2 bags and trolleys in the boot of my Mk7 golf. Only have to take driver out and put them in separate. Easy to park, good interior spec and most models have adaptive cruise control which is ideal for cruising on the motorway
I got fitted for a new driver a few weeks ago by a reputable pro at my club (not saying where or who). I tried the M2, G, G LS tec, and a nike driver (don't know which one - hated the look).
My old driver was the TM jet speed with regular shaft and I usually carried it on launch monitor around...
