    Wayward drives

I would recommend speaking to the person your having lessons with. The danger of getting advice from people that havent seen your swing is that its all guess work. There are so many movements that affect the swing there could be 20 that can cause the problem you have. That could be 20 different...

    Sandwedge or 56* wedge

Re: Sandwdge or 56* wedge Most of the time from what I know its the bounce that varies. The bounce is the angle at which the bottom of the club face sits up from the ground. Usually the purpose built SW in sets have a higher bounce. It does depend on which set you buy though.

    New R9?

As an avid Taylormade fan I can't bring myself to say anything bad about the clubs :p I can understand the concept of the new Supertri. The R9 was a 420cc head with MWT (moveable weights) and FCM (flight control management) The R9 460 as in its name is a 460cc head but with only the FCM. They...

    Can we train our brain?

I play at Aldenham GC in Hertfordshire. I am working on a pre shot routine to try and eliminate the thought process over the ball but I still struggle to think positively about every shot. Theres always a 'dont hit it right' or 'have I taken enough club' that creeps in when setting up for the...

    Practice makes.....

I work at a golf range and I see many people come up and hit fantastic shots, however they still maintain a reasonably high handicap. I have come to the conclusion that when people go onto the practice range they are loose, care free and tend to focus on just hitting the ball rather than...

    Can we train our brain?

I really am not too sure. I think its more to block out negative thoughts and thoughts in general when stepping up to the ball. I tend to be very competitive on the golf course and have trouble playing my own game especially in a club competition when I focus on other peoples scores. Everyone...

250yds middle of fairway every time!!!!

That's the worst thing I've ever seen. What gets me is when the guy says 'its for people who want to play regular golf but cant for some reason' Thats not regular golf! I can understand the idea but that can't be called a golf club.

    Gap wedge?

I play a 54*,60*. I leave a 6* difference between my wedges including the pitch. This means I have an even yardage between my wedges and I can play a shot for any distance I'm out from the green. Flop shots are the best looking but hardest shot in golf in my opinion. I would always play a...

    Can we train our brain?

From what I can remember (as it's been a while since I read the books) there is a lot of 'story telling' involved if you get my drift. A lot of scenarios that Bob writes about but I guess its to get you to understand the points he makes. There are some great tips in the books and 'Putting out...

    Can we train our brain?

I have read a couple of books by Bob Rotella. 'Golf is not a game of perfect' and 'Putting out of your mind'. I must admit they helped a great deal. I would recommend these books to anyone looking to improve their game.

    Can we train our brain?

Hello Guys, This is my first post so be gentle :) I have been looking at the so called golf brain training software that is everywhere on the web. They advertise that using the software will almost 'tune' your brain to think more like a pro on the course. I have been looking to possibly...
