    Random Irritations

That's a really good way of doing it. Don't have kids myself but seeing how much my niece & nephew get, they get way too much and not even appreciate it - just grab something off the pile, rip the paper off, put it down & just repeat for about 20 minutes

    Random Irritations

Talking about that, we had a note through the door from Royal Mail regarding something that they couldn't deliver due to insufficient postage. Had to go onto the Royal Mail website to pay the fee and there is no way of knowing what this item was. The really irritating thing was that it was only...

    Golf Random Irritations

I find that I don't feel as "connected" to the round if I'm in a buggy - have used one abroad when it's roasting but when I used one in the UK, just couldn't get into the round, as it was just 'hit & drive'

    Pineridge closure.

Particularly busy at the weekends, as they have a lot of pay & play/social golfers, so would be surprised if they get rid - at one point, it was the main Crown Golf headquarters but not sure now after CG sold a load of their courses. Last thing I saw re the Frimley Park relocation was the land...

    Spotify Wrapped

Is it a bad sign that my Wrapped Listening age (21) is 35 years out? My top 5 were:- Tremonti Poppy Alter Bridge Within Temptation Pink My top 5 singles are heavily skewed towards songs that I have to learn for the cover band I'm in, as I play along with them through Spotify

    NFL 2025

We finally got a win!! It was against the Jets, who are worse than us but a win is a win  Came at a bit of a cost, as Hill has likely played his last game for us but this could make McDaniel simplify the offense and go to a run first offense

    Random Irritations

Personally, the changes in Farnham are for the better. A bit inconvenient, yes, but necessary, as they should make the journey around the town quicker & easier. The Farnham-ites on the FB page though. Literally every building that is younger than 100 years old is a disgrace/not in keeping &...

Golf Things That Gladden The Heart

Totally agree. Played in two previous comps - 31 & 30 points. Played last Saturday, really didn't feel like it but dragged myself there - 41 points. Stupid game

    NFL 2025

Don't strictly agree with you, as we & Tua certainly were vastly improved over the Colts game. However, after a good quarter & a half, the old issues resurfaced in the 4th quarter - play calls coming in late, resulting in delay of game penalties/needless TO usage and bad mental errors. On the...

    Private health care

Unfortunately, BM is right, as if you are looking at private healthcare on an individual basis, you will either have to be medical underwritten (where you will pretty much have to declare your entire medical history) or go through (usually) a 5 year moratorium (so if you have had signs, symptoms...

    Random Irritations

Had the misfortune of watching 5 minutes of the National Television Awards last night and caught the winner of the 'Authored Documentary' award - was the winner the documentary about Rob Burrow, the documentary about Amy Dowden's battle against breast cancer or the documentary about Freddie...

    NFL 2025

I did stick it out until the end - we were unbelievably bad. Probably worse than the 2019 tank season - at least we had no expectations

    Films

We thought it was better than the two sequels to Jurassic World and you can turn your brain off & just watch Scarlett Johansson

    Films

Cineworld are obviously trying to fill screens up, as they have been re-showing all of the X-Men films - went to see Days of Futures Past on Saturday, excellent. They are also showing a load of Christopher Nolan films as well, so seeing The Dark Knight on Saturday (y) Knew there was a reason...
