So I needed to fit in my long run early this week as have a Half Marathon in 'The Hague' at the weekend.
It was a good and bad run, took a turning too early, so had to change my route. Then after doing the reverse of a different section turned off too early again :P

I've moved my runs around a bit this week so this evening an easy 6 miles.
Heart rate mainly below 150 again which is very pleasing. Rounded it up too 10k as it just seemed like the thing to do :P

My long run today 17.5 miles completed, felt comfortable. But at the end of the 4th lap could just feel my left hamstring. So decided too not go for the marathon.
Averaged 9;39 minute miles, HR under 150 for pretty much the whole thing so very happy chappy
So 1k intervals today. Warm up then 5 x 1k @ 7:30 minute miles.
I was too quick for most of the reps, but just the right session for me today. Just run as hard as I could :P

So went to a quickish Parkrun this morning.
Aim was to see where my speed was at. AIM was sub 25 minutes.
First mile behind the 24 minute pacer, second mile went past the pacer. About half a mile left saw the pacer catching me up. Worked pretty hard til the end 23.21.

Hyrox session this morning, felt pretty good.
Then on the Dreadmill for 5 miles easy, as I think I'd have smashed out a run outside. 50 minutes slog done.
I've never had an issue with gels, always seem to be ok for me. I'm just trying to find something extra so I'm not having 8 or more gels for the marathon.
Could get a bit tedious :P
Never have, longest run not in a race has been HM distance. I've planned my long runs around Saturn running races in London, so I can just use there aid station.
I've got a 19 miler in mid March, that If I need a drink I'll buy one on the route.
