Obviously it depends on if it’s included in the terms and conditions of comp. I prefer people not to total anything as it’s surprising how many seem to get it wrong and then spend an extra 10 min stuck in front of the PSI.
Not sure how you can make that statement, have you a working knowledge how other clubs are managing handicaps and is your county full of golfing cheats?
Not come across it during my time as HC Secretary at our club, must be doing something very wrong.
Not sure why things have changed as it's not happening until April. Has your course been assessed which may account for changes.
All changes to HC should /will be notified to members when it happens. Not sure why your into all the maths already.
The team help but the assessor is the one making the final decision. My member of the team was amazed that the lead member took no account of his input.
I think this will always be an issue with volunteers and the ability of different leads.
They are volunteers and they can’t get enough as it is. Some counties have none and are still waiting to be done. I feel that at a minimum is for the raters to take hole by hole information into account.
Next question: How do you decrease a HI on the WHS DB, managed to do an increase but cannot remember how to do the decrease and one has come up on the review.
Just to let you know, new tee sets were not required. Just change the slope and cr on the initial course set up page. Best to wait until the WHS activation date. On the day then use the drop down menus on the CDH courses to put the relevant slope and cr of that course.
Been looking at this and see that although the certificate we received says 28 Oct the WHS has got a date in late November so I presume I do nothing for now. Will need time anyway as I will be needing V1 support because I forgot how this was set up previously.
