I have only used metal spikes once before and found them good. It was quite wet. They do however tear up greens if people are not careful with them. Soft spikes are much more course friendly but the cleats clog a hell of a lot and the do not offer a great amount of grip in wet courses.

Yup, cheers for the round fella, nice course and i did enjoy it. Still haven't bothered to look at my card again. No point going over what i already know. As i said once i have moved it will be good to meet up again.
You played well, looked good with them new irons. Good luck on Monday.
Have you thought about looking for ex demo stuff? My old man got a cobra for 95 quid from his pro.
It developed a rattle, something to do with the swing weight. Cobra took it back and he got a brand new club. He well pleased
when putting in more power i had a real bad slice, this was sorted in one of my lessons by adjusting my grip. I was told to bring my left thumb further round my club. This helped me square the club head on impact, creating a straighter shot. But this could be one of many reasons for a slice
I have to say that the muni i have just got a season ticket for is pretty good. Generally not many yobs hacking around. Also quite a nice friendly environment and people always look respectable. There is another muni closer to town that all the hackers/hoodies go to.
If i had your experience i...
Just got a season ticket for my muni and to my suprise it only cost £250 for the year. Apparently they have an intermediate cost for people aged 22-29. As i am 23 i have another 6 years of cheap ass golf left!!!!
If this is the case then as far as i am aware the accountants are the ones responsible for the mistake so you should be able to make a claim against them. As far as you are aware the books have been completed correctly as you have had a (so called) professional do them.
The problem is i bet the accountants do not sign the VAT return which sort of gets them off. It is the persons who signs the return ultimate responsibilty to make sure it is correct. I would definately have sought legal advice to see if there is any comeback on the accountants
From previous threads i see that quite a few of you guys use statistic recording software to see what you are doing right and wrong.
I have a few questions. How many of you find them useful? What one would you recommend? How much do they cost?
Thanks
MTS
I will keep my clubs as long as they are useful to me. If i got my handicap right down and needed better clubs i would replace them.
Only been playing for six months so am pretty sure i won't be buying clubs just for the sake of it.
a little harsh on the Nicklaus clubs don't you think? i have used mine for a while now and am very happy with them.
Why would the Pro in AG recommend they are good clubs along with the others the guy had tried if they were s**t?
The MTR as MW mentioned cost around the same as G10's so has...
